Young naturalists visited the Hazar state nature reserve
On February 18, 2024, an exciting excursion to the Hazar state nature reserve was organized for 10 school children aged 8 to 15, who were the winners of the "Marine mammals through the eyes of children" drawing competition. The trip was arranged by the "Young Naturalist" public organization with the support of the Parahat Syýahat tourist agency.
During the program, the children visited the reserve's visitor center to explore its interactive exhibits, and then took a walk along the Caspian Sea coast to observe waterfowl. The excursion concluded with a visit to the Museum of Nature in Turkmenbashi, where the young environmentalists got a closer look at the rich biodiversity of the region.
Leyli Shyhmedova, Chairperson of the "Young Naturalist" public organization, noted that such practical field trips are essential for building environmental awareness and fostering a true love for nature among the younger generation.
