Young Naturalists and International Organizations Celebrated Earth Day in Ashgabat

On April 22, Earth Day was celebrated in Ashgabat with a series of large-scale environmental education events. An eco-festival that brought together about 150 children and teenagers took place in one of the capital's parks. This vibrant celebration was jointly organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan, the National Red Crescent Society, and the "Yash tebigatchy" (Young Naturalist) public organization.

The festival featured a solemn award ceremony for the participants of a children's drawing contest dedicated to environmental protection. Through their creative works, the young artists demonstrated a caring attitude toward the planet, and the winners received memorable prizes to the applause of the guests and organizers.
