"Sustainable future: Youth and nature" eco-festival held in Turkmenabat

On May 2, the "Sustainable Future: Youth and Nature" environmental festival took place at the specialized 30th secondary school in the city of Turkmenabat. The event was jointly organized by the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, the Ministry of Education, and the "Young Naturalist" public organization as part of the UNESCO Greening Education Partnership.

During the celebration, students performed songs, music, and poetry celebrating the nature of our Homeland. An exhibition dedicated to the country's diverse flora and fauna was also organized as part of the event.

One of the most engaging highlights of the festival was a practical ecology lesson, where guests and schoolchildren worked together to plant tomato seedlings in special eco-containers. At the conclusion of the event, the "Young Naturalist" organization presented memorable gifts to the most active teachers and students.
