School of courage and humanism: "Young rescuers" competition held

On September 9, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of the country, the "Young Rescuers" competition was held at the 1st Specialized Military School named after Berdimuhamed Annayev of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan. Teams formed from students of the military school took part in the event.

The competition was jointly organized by the Civil Defense and Rescue Operations Directorate of Ashgabat City under the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan, the Road Police Department of the Ashgabat City Police Directorate, the "Young Naturalist" public organization, and the Ashgabat City Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization.

Aimed at instilling moral qualities such as courage and humanism in the younger generation, as well as enhancing their knowledge of civil defense and emergency response, the students competed across seven stages. During the competition, participants demonstrated their skills in expressively presenting their team's name and motto, regulating road traffic, extinguishing fires, conducting rescue operations, providing theoretical and practical first aid, solving test tasks on emergency situations, and navigating a short course using a rescue rope.

According to the results judged in a hard-fought competition, the "Watan mertleri" team took first place. Second place went to the "Gaýratly ýaşlar" team, and third place was awarded to "Kuwwatly ýaşlar". Certificates of Honor and commemorative gifts were solemnly presented to the winners and all participating teams on behalf of the organizers.
