In the lens — wildlife: Winners of the "Memorial Maria Luisa Awards 2026" announced
The jury of the 36th Memorial Maria Luisa Awards international photo contest has officially announced its winners. This year, the prestigious competition dedicated to nature, mountains, and adventure brought together 1,450 authors from 78 countries. Experts reviewed a staggering collection of over 18,000 photographs and 182 video entries.

The Grand Prize Fundación Cajastur was awarded to Canadian photographer Christophe Fischer for his work titled "The Fearless." His shot of two antelopes in the epicenter of a dust storm has become a powerful symbol of natural resilience.

In the "Young Photographers" category, French Lubin Gaudin took the top honor—his frame featuring a mountain goat captivated the judges with its remarkable cinematographic depth.
