"Let's protect our beautiful nature together" eco-festival held in Ashgabat

On May 5, the "Let's Protect Our Beautiful Nature Together" environmental festival took place at Ashgabat Park, jointly organized by the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, the Ashgabat City Chancellery, and the "Young Naturalist" public organization. Dedicated to environmental protection, the event brought together ecologists, students, and capital residents of all ages.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, Hero of Turkmenistan Chinar Rustamova, noted that this initiative effectively demonstrates to youth the importance of ecology and the benefits of waste recycling.

The cultural event featured a rich program, including environmental performances, interactive eco-games, educational masterclasses on recycling plastic waste, and an "eco-fashion" show showcasing creative clothing made from recycled materials.
