President of Turkmenistan took part in the mass bicycle ride
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the mass bicycle ride dedicated to World Health Day. The Esteemed President led the column of participants, reaffirming Turkmenistan's commitment to the principles of sport as a factor for peace, sustainable development, and strengthening the health of the nation, according to a report by TDH.

The campaign commenced at the "Bicycle" monument, located at the intersection of Chandybil Avenue and Bekrewe Street. The event was attended by leadership of the Mejlis, members of the Cabinet of Ministers, diplomats, representatives of public organizations and the media, university rectors, students, and professional athletes. The route proceeded along the modern avenues of the capital, featuring performances by various creative ensembles along the way.
During the event, it was emphasized that the development of sports and the promotion of environmentally friendly transport are key priorities of state policy. The President noted the significance of sports diplomacy, recalling that, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, the United Nations proclaimed June 3 as World Bicycle Day. Esteemed President demonstrated excellent physical form, leading the column throughout the distance.
The rally concluded in the city center near the Ruhyet Palace. Addressing the participants, Esteemed President emphasized the importance of further engaging youth in physical education to foster a healthy and goal-oriented generation.
After wishing the participants health and continued success, Esteemed President warmly bid farewell and departed the venue. Similar mass sporting and cultural events in honor of the holiday were held in the city of Arkadag and across all regions of the country.
