Sky show: From rainbow clouds to the “meeting” of planets

Unusual rainbow clouds seen in Jonggol, Indonesia, have become very popular online. Ida Pramuwardani, a weather expert at the BMKG agency, explained that this is a natural event caused by sunlight hitting water drops in the air.

According to NASA, this planetary 'meeting' in the constellation Taurus can be observed even without binoculars. On May 19, the view of the sky will change again as the Moon rises even higher.
