🌿 A new stage of ecological transformation: Concepts for "Green" city development discussed in Ashgabat

On April 28, the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute hosted an interactive youth seminar titled "Green Cities Through the Eyes of Youth." The event was organized as part of a joint project between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, aimed at improving the regulatory and legal framework to create an energy-efficient and sustainable construction sector in the country.

The meeting brought together students from leading universities, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Ambassadors, and climate activists on a single platform. During the seminar, young specialists and UNDP experts deepened their knowledge in the fields of sustainable urban planning and environmental leadership.

This event marked a significant step toward strengthening the environmental culture of the youth and expanding their participation in global climate initiatives. Participants had the opportunity not only to discuss modern environmental standards but also to propose their own solutions for promoting sustainable urban projects in Turkmenistan.
